Mythic writing rules:
- Use declarative sentences and a timeless, elevated register ('In the days before' not 'Once there was')
- Events happen with mythic causality — because one thing happened, another follows as consequence
- The ending must explain something real (why the sea is salty, why cats land on their feet, why pride destroys)
- Characters are types, not individuals — they represent forces, not people
- Include one moment of transformation (physical, spiritual, or metaphorical)

Deliver: the myth (500-700 words) in appropriate register, then note what real cultural tradition influenced the structure.
